Shipping/Receiving Clerk

Camtronics Aviation Group is currently seeking a shipping & receiving clerk for our facility located in Tulsa, OK. Hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime.


SUMMARY: The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for handling in-bound and out-bound scheduling in the plant.



Included but not limited to:


  • Processing orders through internal (QAVW & Quickbooks/SOS) operating system to include outbound shipment orders, customer received orders, foreign orders and export paperwork, and fabrication work orders;
  • Preparing bills of lading, pack lists, and cert paperwork;
  • Resolving discrepancy issues when receiving repair orders; communicating with customer service
  • Processing incoming customer repair orders, performing receiving inspection, creation of work order, label, scanning, and delivery to appropriate department.
  • Filing daily BOLs, orders, and receivers;
  • Preparing and reviewing of various month-end reports;
  • Ordering and maintaining shipping supplies.
  • Interfaces with Camtronics Group team members at many levels, up to and including middle management
  • Shipping of completed repairs – utilizing Fedex, UPS, DHL web interfaces to create shipping labels; coordinating with freight forwarders
  • Packaging of products with care to ensure quality packaging of components upon completion of repairs.
  • No direct supervisory responsibilities
  • Other Duties as assigned

SAFETY RESPONSIBILITY: Duties shall include observing all company, health, safety and environmental rules. Shipping/Receiving clerk will ensure that all Camtronics Group safety requirements are understood and observed by chosen suppliers and service providers as required. Maintain the entire work area to a high standard of housekeeping and low incidence of physical hazards. All accidents must be promptly reported to your supervisor or manager.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • 3-5 years shipping/receiving experience;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and ability to multi-task;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Excel;
  • Proficiency in data entry;
  • Accuracy and strong attention to detail required.
  • Steel-toed shoes are required.
  • Demonstrated high levels of verbal and written communication, human relation skills and reasoning ability.
  • Shipping & Receiving experience – 1 year minimum


PHYSICAL EFFORT AND DEXTERITY: Employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time. Must be mobile within an office environment. Employee must have the manual dexterity (use of fingers, hands, arms, and shoulders) required to continually perform filing, manipulate computer keyboard and mouse and perform other desk-site duties. Extensive use of telephone, fax machine, printer, copier, scanner, and other office equipment typical of a business environment is required. The frequent reaching for and lifting of light to medium loads is required.


ENVIRONMENT: Normal business office conditions generally prevail. The noise level is usually low to moderate. Employee may be working in a cubicle, enclosed office, or open area. Floor may be carpeted or bare.
